37 Weeks = FULL TERM!

FINALLY!!! TheBump.com has chosen a fruit that is actually big enough to describe how I feel!

It is so hard to believe that I am not only 37 weeks, but also considered FULL TERM!!! All those worries and fears about preterm labor are now in the past. Blake can literally come whenever he is ready! And boy...do I feel ready. Just look at that watermelon!!

Please excuse the fact that I am in my comfy clothes and pony tail. It has been bitter cold here the past two days and Addie and I have been camped out inside. I am down to 18 days or less before Blake makes his big debut and I am finally feeling ready. I am just two gifts away from being DONE with Christmas shopping and wrapping. My UPS man should be dropping both gifts off tomorrow :-) My hospital bag is packed, my house is as organized as it is going to get AND I have been able to spend lots of quality time with Addie the past few days. We've colored, baked cookies, played dollies, and watched Charlie Brown Christmas about 5 times. It's been wonderful and I am getting SO excited about introducing her to her little brother.

But even though I say I feel "ready" and "organized", I still have my moments where I break out in a cold sweat and call my SIL Dana so that she can explain to me once again how wonderful it is to have two kids. I need her to remind me that I can handle it, that even though some days are hard, others are amazing, and that if it gets bad enough...we can just come over to her house, let the kids run wild, and drink a glass of wine. Haha! Just kidding :-) Or maybe not...
