1.) It's okay to lay in your bed snuggled under cozy flannel snowman sheets reading Christmas books alllllllllll day :-)
2.) It's okay to replace your dress coats with snowsuits, boots and hats because playing in the snow is the only thing your kids care to do all day :-)
3.) It's okay to run out your front door in nothing but a bath robe and snow boots just to get your mail so you can open another stack of Christmas cards :-)
4.) It's okay to do inappropriate things to snowmen. Wish Eric and I could take credit for this one...but this was ALL mother nature. All it takes is a little wind to turn a snowman's nose into another appendage :-)
Does anyone else actually enjoy winter?
I LOVE winter. A little jealous of all the snow you are getting. Maybe we will get to see some when we are in NYC. I think that Santa may need to bring Matthew some flannel sheets....they sure look comfy. Love your card holder! I need to find something like that. Merry Christmas Jen!

ReplyDeleteI LOVE winter too! Winter and fall are my favorite seasons. I'm way jealous of the snow you're getting. We've only had a couple flurries so far, nothing even stuck. I'm still hoping for a white Christmas but it doesn't look promising for this year...

ReplyDeleteKristy and Bre - My Christmas tree card holder is from Pier 1, but I got it about 8 years ago when I worked there :-) I LOVE it so much. It is so nice to have it hang on a door and not take up any wall space :-) I wouldn't be surprised if they had something similar.
