There's no turning back now, my friends! The Hal Higdon Half Marathon training app I've had on my phone for three months begins today and I am actually pretty excited about it!!!
I am still not sure if I will get every run in that I am suppose to, but I am going to try really hard to make it happen. I've been feeling good on my runs the last two weeks and Eric and I have been doing MUCH better with eating healthy. I just signed on for a 30-day challenge and my goal is simple: continue to eat healthy and run/workout at least 4-5 days a week.
So...now that the plan is in place, I need to make one thing happen in the next week.
I need new shoes!!
I needed them yesterday, but I have been toying around with the idea of trying the Nike Free Runs since everyone is crazy about them, but when I look at my good old Air Pegasus'...I just don't know that I am ready to make a change!! Plus, they have some super cute colors in this model.
I figure by the time July is here, I will have been running and working out consistently AND eating healthy for 3 months so my goal is to look like this in my run shorts for the half marathon :-)
